Frequently Asked Questions

What is Queen of Hearts?

The Queen of Hearts game is a raffle-style event where players buy tickets and choose a card number they believe to be the Queen of Hearts. Each week a ticket is drawn, and the corresponding card is revealed. If the Queen of Hearts is selected, that ticket holder wins the jackpot. If not, the game continues and the jackpot grows.

How do I play?

How it works: A standard deck of 52 cards plus two jokers (54 cards total) are sealed in numbered envelopes or slots on a board.

Buying tickets: Players purchase tickets and write their name, phone number, and the number of the card they think is the Queen of Hearts on the back.

Winning: If the Queen of Hearts is revealed, the ticket holder wins 90 percent of the jackpot. The venue rolls over the remaining 10 percent to a new Queen of Hearts Drawing. Most places also only award the 90 percent if the player is there. If the player is not present, they will win 50 to 60 percent of the jackpot with the remaining rolling over to a new drawing.

Rollover: If the Queen of Hearts is not drawn, the game continues, and the pot grows. This can go on for many weeks.

How often are drawings held?

Usually once per week. Each venue sets its own rules and schedule.
